This form is for requesting sibling courtesy ridership on ESE (Exceptional Student Education) buses. It is intended for students who are either not eligible for standard bus transportation or are eligible but choosing to ride with their sibling on an ESE bus, subject to space availability during the school year.
Important Guidelines:
Processing & Timeline: Courtesy rider requests will not be considered during the first 2 weeks of school. Please allow at least 5 business days for processing once review begins.
Approval Terms: Approval is not guaranteed and depends strictly on seat availability, existing ESE bus routes, student behavior, and district transportation policies. New bus stops will not be created for courtesy riders.
Status Changes: Courtesy ridership is a privilege, not a right. Courtesy riders may be assigned or removed at any time based on capacity, route adjustments, or eligibility changes.
Parent Responsibility: Parents/guardians must provide transportation until official approval is received. You will receive an automated message via Bus Planner notifying you whether your request has been approved or denied.
